With Néophore, Döppel Studio reimagines the ancient amphora—once a simple container or unit of measurement—as a source of light.

This collection of unique pieces explores archaeology through a contemporary lens, transforming the amphora into a luminous artifact that fuses past and modernity.

Döppel Studio is a design studio born from the collaboration of two designers, Jonathan Omar and Lionel Dinis-Salazar, graduates of the École des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and HEAR in Strasbourg, respectively. Whether creating a one-of-a-kind piece or an industrial project, their approach is consistent: to go beyond mere function and surpass the "minimum requirements." Viewing the confrontation of ideas and drawings as a means to achieve a just and effective project, the duo strives for a design that truly engages both body and mind. Döppel Studio was part of the Ateliers de Paris from 2016 to 2018.
